Slate Media Taps Industry Pro to Join TV Production Division

Tampa, FL (PRWEB) June 16, 2008 -- Slate Media, Inc., today, announced that a native Floridian with solid experience in advertising and marketing has joined the Tampa-based company. Named an associate producer, Nick Lawson will be responsible primarily for leading preproduction of two national cable television shows.

Most recently, Lawson was a senior account executive in the advertising and sports marketing industries and worked closely with Fortune 1000 clients.

"We are working on programming that showcases interesting concepts that are brand new to most viewers. I believe there's a bright future ahead for the creative flare that makes this company and its product stand out."

Slate Media's television production division brings to life stimulating programs to air nationally on cable networks such as TLC, HGTV, the Travel Channel, FOX Business, and the Discovery Channel.

Lawson will lead preproduction of "Building it Green", a new series highlighting ways to build more environmentally friendly houses, to air on HGTV. He will also oversee preproduction of "The American Home" series, which profiles innovative home design concepts found throughout the country, to air on TLC.
