(www.cablevision.com) today is recognizing Fox Sports Net New York (FSN NY) HD as its HD Channel of the Day, as part of the ongoing "44 Days in HD, on iO TV" countdown. Available to Cablevision's iO TV customers on channel 717, FSN NY HD offers sports enthusiasts exclusive coverage of the New Jersey Devils and New York Islanders of the NHL along with a strong line-up of college football and basketball coverage and additional top quality programming from Fox Sports Net including "Best Damn Sports Show," "Halls of Fame" and "The Game 365."
During the countdown, Cablevision is recognizing each of the 44 high-definition services iO customers receive at no additional cost, including all nine local professional sports teams in HD. Unlike its satellite and phone company competitors, Cablevision does not impose additional fees and charges on customers who want to "see" in HD.
