Google's YouTube Gets the Red-Carpet Treatment for "Heinz Always Sunnyside Up" Top This TV Challenge Contest Entry

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) September 16, 2007 -- The red carpet at tonight's Emmy® Awards at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California, was squeezed sweet with ketchup for Michael Thelin whose TOP THIS TV CHALLENGE contest entry, "HEINZ Always Sunnyside Up," will air on NBC's The Today Show on Monday, September 17, 2007.

This evening's Primetime Emmy® Awards" broadcast on FOX was chosen as the preeminent media channel for HEINZ to finalize its much anticipated contest winner and runners-up: one winner, four runners-up. Michael Thelin answered the call with his entry of "HEINZ Always Sunnyside Up."

"I am fascinated by stop-motion animation, and have always wanted to produce a project using this particular art form," says Michael Thelin. "So, when HEINZ TOP THIS TV CHALLENGE contest became available I thought, why not?" he says.

The "HEINZ Always Sunnyside Up" commercial spot is a throwback from the 70's right down to the kitchen wallpaper. The music chosen to accompany the spot is warm and filled with a genuine "good morning" breakfast anticipation. "I feel the spot has everything a brand would want," says Mr. Thelin. "And, I am just so honored to be chosen as one of the four runners-up of the HEINZ TOP THIS TV CHALLENGE contest. It's like being nominated for an Emmy® Award without the great gift bags and Governor's Ball to attend afterwards. Of course, none of this would have been possible without Craig's understanding and encouragement," says Michael.

"Craig" is Craig Caryl, President of The Film and Music Company, a full-service film and music production company, and boutique creative agency scheduled to launch Fall 2007. "We are a company formed by-artists-for-artists," says Mr. Caryl. "So, when Michael came to me about the HEINZ TOP THIS TV CHALLENGE and said he wanted to enter the contest on his own, I said go for it," he adds. "I want our company to be about nurturing artists both personally and professionally. And, if that means saying 'yes' from time to time to relevant personal requests or projects in order to keep things moving forward in a positive direction, then I say yes," adds Mr. Caryl. "We artists, whatever our medium, need to explore and expand our talents while challenging our creative imaginations whenever and however we can. It's how we grow artistically and professionally," says Mr. Caryl, an accomplished filmmaker, director and producer in his own right.

Michael Thelin, who is a transplant from Chicago, IL now living in Hermosa Beach, CA, is a Viral Producer at The Film and Music Company. He is a graduate from the University of Miami in Ohio with a degree in finance.
