Changes in the Wind for Carla Baron and Court TV

(PRWEB) August 27, 2007 -- Court TV has announced a big change, on January 1st 2008, it will become truTV. They will still have trial coverage weekday mornings. Star Jones returns with her own talk show at 3 pm. It's the prime time line up that has the most noticeable changes. More "reality" shows, like the trio of women bounty hunters in Bounty Girls, and some in development like Neighbors 911, in which an ex-Green Beret mediates feuding neighbors. They will still have the staples we have all come to know, such as Psychic Detectives, Forensic Files, and Speeders.

This brings us to the summer series, Haunting Evidence. A psychic profiler, a medium, and a paranormal investigator, team up to help solve cold cases. What would happen if one were to exit the show? Would it have the same feel? One might want to ponder that, considering recent press releases featuring Carla Baron, the show's psychic profiler. In the recent press releases, there are hints that she is considering new projects from other networks, and that she would like to get back to her paranormal "roots," possibly ghost hunting. It would seem that while she has high regards for Court TV, Ms. Baron would like to disengage from the cold case genre, and venture into a phenomena-based reality series, like MTV's Fear, or Dead Famous.

Wouldn't it be phenomenal for Carla Baron to revive a Blair Witch style of "documentary" film making into a series?
