Toronto, ON (PRWeb) March 8, 2007 -- Living up to its mandate to deliver the latest information on the future of digital content, nextMEDIA, secures Dale Herigstad, Chief Creative Officer of interactive agency, Schematic, to deliver a keynote address on Sunday, June 10, at the Fairmont Banff Springs in Banff, Canada.
"Dale Herigstad's vision, creative insights and keen understanding of the user experience are useful not only for new media executives but also for broadcasters, navigating the murky waters of media convergence as well as for producers, working to find new ways to create and distribute content," comments Mark Greenspan, Executive Producer, nextMEDIA, "Herigstad's work is changing the way we experience digital content and his keynote is perfect for nextMEDIA, speaking strongly to the future of digital entertainment."
A leader in the development and design of next generation platforms, Herigstad bridges the divide between traditional broadcasting and multi-platform distribution. Focusing on the end user experience, Herigstad has helped design platforms for forward-thinking companies such as ABC, Microsoft, Turner, Sony and Starz.

Herigstad has incorporated similar concepts when helping design the Accenture Interactive Network on display in Chicago's O'hare and New York's John F. Kennedy airports.
With thirty years of experience focusing on broadcast, design, branding and User Experience, Herigstad has pioneered advanced navigation systems for Interactive TV and connected screens that feature a unique spatial context approach.
