'Unorthodox Entrepreneur' Vows to Create and Launch TV Channel in Just 31 Days

The contests are open to any type of legitimate, family-friendly contests including beauty contests, karaoke or lip synching contests, air guitar concerts, feats of intelligence or strength, stupid pet tricks, stupid human tricks, you name it.

According to Mr. Knight, "The concept is also perfectly designed for companies that want to discover new spokes models or other talent to promote their products or services, pet food companies looking for the next Morris the Cat, or any organization that wants to be able to set up, promote and execute a nationwide, or even a world-wide contest without worrying about all of the infrastructure needed to support it."

Visitors to the site can view the contests and cast their votes online or via SMS on their cell phones. They can also sign up to run their own contests or become a contestant in an existing one.

Once the web-based portion of any competition is completed, the votes will be tallied and the final contestants will have their day of fame on national TV and around the world via the Internet, where the winner will be picked by viewers voting from their mobile phone with simple SMS messages!

"Think "American Idol" but with an endless variety of acts and competitions," says Mr. Knight.

Mr. Knight is also planning to launch the concept in Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Bulgaria, France and he is looking for entertainment and broadcast industry partners in other countries.
